We are happy to introduce three key improvements to our integration with Figma that make importing and testing large Figma files a smoother experience:
1. The Maze Figma plugin
You can now use our new plugin from the Figma community to import larger prototypes into Maze compared to what is possible with regular maze imports.
How to use the Plugin:
We have redesigned the process of importing a prototype into Maze to provide clear guidance on prototype permissions settings and file optimization for improved test performance.
Additionally, you can now import a prototype with the plugin and choose the flows you want to import and test instead of importing the entire file. This is especially useful if the file is too large to upload with the traditional maze import.
3 . Improved Tester performance
We upgraded our Figma prototype display, resulting in faster load times for testers, particularly on mobile devices and networks. (For the experts among you, we switched from versioned embedding to live embedding).
This leads to fewer testers giving up on tests, and more data for your maze.
Any new Figma prototypes imported will now get the advantage of this enhancement.
