With the launch of the Live Suite, you can now connect your websites to Maze - opening up a whole range of new research solutions in Maze.
That includes Live Website Testing!
The new Mission Block enables you to see how users interact with live flows, features, and experiences, with the same powerful analytics and usability metrics you're used to in Maze.
Perfect for:
🏆Capturing more accurate user insights in realistic scenarios 🗺️Usability testing specific features and flows already in production 📈Setting product baselines to shape better solutions 🎯Validating live navigation, naming, and IA
Products are a constant work in progress and discovery doesn't stop when a feature hits production. With this new feature, your team can now collect insights across the entire product development cycle and let customer voice fuel your future iterations. 📹 Short on time? Here’s a quick walkthrough.
💡How it works
Live Website Testing is the new way to run usability tests on live websites and browser-based products.
Now your research participants can complete tasks in realistic environments, giving you more accurate user insights to inform decisions across the entire development cycle.
With Maze, you can set successful paths on live pages and see user deviations from your expectations. See heatmaps, usability scores, aggregated paths and more - the same metrics you know and love from Missions, just on live websites.
As your users move through a Live Website Testing mission, they’ll be guided through the task on the website page via a widget for a streamlined tester experience.
Maze will capture all user behavior and responses, transforming them into actionable quantitative usability metrics alongside custom qualitative insights that bring more context to your data. It includes features such as heatmaps, aggregated and individual paths, re-watchable recordings, and more.
All built to help you:
Allow users to interact with their own personal settings or account information as they complete research tasks with Maze that include text field input. You can also factor in situational and time-sensitive user experiences like triggered states, including promotion modals and pop-ups.
Identified a leaky funnel in your behavioral analytics tool? Run a Live Website Test to see how users move through flows to identify opportunities that optimize conversion and drive growth, adoption, and activation.
For example:
Observe how users move through your site in its current form. Validate navigation and site structure to get a steer on user understanding of how you group pages and information.
While shaping solutions in the prototyping phase, your website becomes your control. Compare live features and flows with new iterations that currently sit in the prototyping phase to validate that your iterations have solved your problems before taking them into production.
We hope you find new opportunities to bring customer insights to live products and websites to fuel your next iterations with customer voice. Ultimately, getting you closer to better adoption, activation and faster growth.
We can’t wait to hear what you think!
