Fresh Eyes: Exclude repeat panel participants Repeat participants skew your data. Fresh Eyes gives you direct control: when placing a panel order, exclude participants who've taken a study in the same project or anyone who's ever taken a study from your team. Your feasibility estimate updates in real time so you can see available supply before confirming. Available for Unmoderated and AI Moderated studies on Team, Org, and Business plans. Moderated support coming end of March.
Variant Comparison: Even participant distribution Participants who dropped off before reaching a Variant Comparison block were still being counted as assigned, skewing splits and making results less reliable. Variant assignment now happens when a participant actually reaches the block. Perfectly balanced studies have more than doubled since rollout.
Global Search: Blocks & interview sessions Search for blocks by title and interview sessions by participant name, role, or company with inline previews in results. Most research tools limit search to qualitative content only. This brings quantitative block data into search too. Available on all Enterprise plans.
Zoom mobile redirect for Maze Conferencing Enable the new Redirect to Zoom App toggle in study settings and mobile participants go straight to the native Zoom app when they click your conferencing link — no more manual handoffs mid-session.
Simplified buffer settings Two buffer fields (before + after) replaced with one: Buffer between sessions. Set it once, protected on both sides automatically.
Name & email visibility controls for moderated studies Control which contact form fields are shown or hidden on recruitment links. Organizations with stricter privacy requirements can also enable Restricted Contact Visibility — an org-level setting that hides email addresses across the entire interface and defaults forms to first name only. Contact your CSM to enable.
Goal formats in AI Moderator Goals now have a Format setting: Conversation or Conversation with Image. Sets up a cleaner mental model as more format types come online.
