Optimize design decisions using the new Variant Comparison block

Image #1

The new Variant comparison block allows you to easily identify the best design out of many, by giving you the power to test multiple design variants and compare the results all within a single maze.

Create up to five variants with different designs and supporting questions

The Variant comparison block is made up of multiple groups of blocks called variants, each configurable with a mix of blocks to facilitate diverse tests that showcase various designs and supporting questions. Up to five variants can be included in a single Variant comparison block.

Minimize bias by distributing variants to participants in an Exclusive or Alternating fashion

To ensure that the order in which variants are viewed does not impact participants’ answers, you can choose between two approaches for automating participant distribution between variants:

  • Alternating: Each participant experiences all variants in a randomized order. Also known as sequential or within-subjects.
  • Exclusive: Participants are evenly split, with each group experiencing only one variant. Also known as monadic or between-subjects.

View the results of all variants side-by-side

Since all variants are part of a single maze, you can view responses for each in one place or export the data as a comprehensive CSV file for deeper analysis.
