Share
The think-aloud protocol is a qualitative research method in which participants verbalize their thoughts, feelings, and decision-making processes as they complete a usability testing task. This enables researchers to get greater insights into users’ cognitive processes, revealing their reactions and expectations. It helps understand the ‘why’ behind a user’s approach to completing tasks during usability testing.
