When should I use this beta testing template?
Beta testing should be done when your product is almost ready to be released into the wild. If you’re looking for earlier stage product feedback, you should try another method of collecting feedback, like concept validation or prototype testing.
What is beta testing?
Beta testing is the opportunity for your target audience to test an almost-ready-to-be-released product or feature, ahead of launch. The main goals of beta testing is to help uncover last-minute bugs or errors, and ensure your target users can operate the new product in a real-world environment.
Why is beta testing useful to me?
Beta testing is essentially the final round of testing that allows you to pick up on last-minute issues to correct before a public reveal of your new product or feature. Doing so can help save your team time and money engaging in post-launch fixes—plus, users will have more confidence in a new product that doesn’t appear to be loaded with bugs or errors.
