Snowball Sampling
Share
Snowball sampling, also known as chain sampling or network sampling, is a non-probability recruitment method where existing participants help recruit others who fit the study criteria. The process starts with a small group of initial contacts (known as seeds) and grows through referrals. It’s handy for reaching niche, hidden, or hard-to-access populations that are difficult to identify through conventional recruitment methods.
